1. Data we collect
VikingQR does not collect any personal data. The app works entirely locally on your device. No information is sent to any server.
2. Camera usage
VikingQR requires camera access exclusively to scan QR and bar codes. Camera images are processed in real time on your device and are never stored, transmitted or shared.
3. Photo library
If you choose to save a generated QR image, VikingQR will request permission to access your photo library. This permission is used solely to save the image you have chosen to save. We do not access any other photos on your device.
4. Local storage
The only information VikingQR stores locally on your device is:
- Your language preference (Spanish or English)
This information is saved via iOS UserDefaults and remains exclusively on your device. It is not synced or sent to any server.
5. Third-party services
VikingQR does not use any third-party services: no analytics, no advertising SDKs, no trackers, no crash reporting services. The app works completely independently.
6. Internet connection
VikingQR does not require an internet connection to work. All QR code scanning and processing features work offline. The only action that may use the internet is when you choose to open a scanned link in your browser.
7. Children's privacy
VikingQR is suitable for all ages (4+). Since it does not collect any data, it complies with all children's privacy regulations including COPPA.
8. Your rights
Since we do not collect any personal data, there is no data to request, modify or delete. If you uninstall the app, all local information (language preference) is automatically deleted.
9. Changes to this policy
If we make changes to this privacy policy, we will update this page with the new date. We recommend reviewing it periodically.
